Parmenides Publishing is an independent, Las Vegas-based publishing company that specializes in groundbreaking scholarship and literature on philosophy, especially Ancient Greek Philosophy. Our goal has always been to revive interest in and enthusiasm for philosophy in an increasingly forward-thinking society. In this spirit, we have created ParmenidesFictionTM, a division ofParmenides Publishing that serves as a vehicle to bring Ancient Greek Philosophy into the lives of modern readers in an exciting and accessible way.
The aim of Parmenides Publishing is to renew interest in the origins and scope of thinking as method. The reflection upon first principles begins over 2,500 years ago in Greece.
Known in time as First Philosophy and Metaphysics and attributed to Aristotle, it was nonetheless conceived by the earlier Parmenides of Elea.
